Let's break down every spoiler in Secret Invasion, the latest Disney+ series from Marvel.

Marvel's latest MCU series Secret Invasion following the master spy Nick Fury (Samual L. Jackson), has come to an end with a less-than-stellar run as one of Marvel's worst projects yet, suffering from low viewership and even lower ratings. The show did have its moments, especially the first two episodes, though it became clear afterward that it couldn't keep up the quality.

So we'll make it easier for you to learn all the spoilers and big reveals from Secret Invasion without even having to watch the show. Whether you want to punish a friend for not catching the latest adventure in the MCU or want to read all about the real juicy bits, or simply don't have the time but want to know what's been going on with Nick Fury and the Skrulls to prepare for the upcoming The Marvels all on one site, then you're in the right place. So here is every single spoiler from Secret Invasion.

The first big surprise of the spy series comes within the first few minutes when Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) tries to gather information about the shape-shifting Skrulls. Meeting with an extremely paranoid CIA agent named Prescod (Richard Dormer), Ross tries to take the information about a Skrull conspiracy to invade Earth, but Prescod believes Ross is a Skrull himself, trying to choke him to death, but Ross kills him with a hidden gun.

Ross tries making out with the information but is followed by another stranger and makes a run for it. He makes a poor calculation when jumping across rooftops and falls ten stories to the ground. The stranger is revealed to be Fury's Skrull friend Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), and it turns out that Prescod was right to be paranoid, as the dying Ross' skin becomes green and scaley and was a Skrull all along. You can't trust anyone.

Skrull Ross was working for another Skrull, the invasion leader Gravik (Kingsley Ben-Adir), who wants to start WWIII between America and Russia to start a nuclear armageddon, in which the Skrulls may take Earth as their new home.

Talos meets with Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), who calls Fury down from his space station. All three go looking for Gravik, tipped off by Talos' daughter G'iah (Emilia Clarke) that Gravik will set off a series of bombs in Russia posing as Americans.

Gravik sets them off, and in the middle of pandemonium, Fury calls to Maria. Maria comes to him, and Fury shoots her point-blank. It was actually Gravik disguised as Fury in one of the most shocking deaths in the whole MCU.

Fury is known as the master spy of the MCU, who has secrets about his secrets, but we had never expected him to hide his wife for decades, and never for Mrs. Fury to be an alien Skrull.

Going home after losing Maria, Fury meets with Priscilla/Vaara (Charlayne Woodard), a former operative in Fury's secret Skrull team who has been married to Fury for decades, as we see she has a wedding ring in a flashback to 1997. It's the most shocking and most memorable twist in the MCU in a long time.

After finding out that G'iah betrayed him, Gravik shoots her in her attempt to escape his headquarters, leaving her for dead in a dramatic episode clincher.

Then in the next episode, we learn...she's not dead. Gravik is building a machine to give him and the other Skrulls superpowers, and G'iah sneaked in while he wasn't looking in a pretty standard flashback. Not one of the most shocking things in the MCU.

A real shocker is that a Skrull managed to secretly replace a beloved Avenger, Rhodey (Don Cheadle). The War Machine, Tony Stark's best friend, has possibly been an alien since Captain America: Civil War. And he's an advisor to the President of the United States, trying to get him on the warpath.

We'll see how this affects the real Rhody's upcoming solo film Armor Wars.

Skrull Rhodey organizes a trap for the President in Gravik, and Skrulls posing as Russians, nearly kills him, but Fury and Talos manage to stop him. In revenge, Gravik pretends to be an American soldier and shoots Talos in front of Fury.

There's no fakeout or resurrection or magic revival comeback. Fury's old friend Talos dies then and there. And Gravik is ready to move on to Fury.

Gravik gives Fury an ultimatum to provide him with the DNA of the Avengers so that he can gain their powers, or he'll nuke Russia using the President. Planless, friendless, and hopeless, Fury gives in, begging him to take over any other planet. Gravik powers himself up with Fury in the machine, gains the Avengers' powers, then moves to kill Fury.

But then Fury uses the same powers against Gravik, and then in one last big twist, it turns out that it was actually G'iah posing as Fury, while the real Fury saves the President from Skrull Rhodey. In the typical MCU CGI beatdown, G'iah kills Gravik, putting an end to his secret invasion.

After all is said, Fury returns to his wife, whom Gravik nearly killed. In an attempt to make for years in space, Fury invites her to space, and she agrees. So they beam up to S.A.B.E.R., where we'll likely see them together again in The Marvels.

The Marvels hits theaters on Nov. 10, 2023.
